Mike Espy and Henry Cisneros
Remember these names....These are the one Freepers are naming when confronted with the fact that no administration officials have been indicted while in office since Ulysses Grant was President.

Of course they are wrong about the two individuals, which had resigned their posts when they were indicted. Not to mention, one headed HUD, the other the Dept of Agriculture. Hardly the VP's right hand man.

Here's the ammo to combat that BS:

Former Agriculture Secretary Mike Espy has been indicted by a federal grand jury on 39 counts of illegally accepting gifts and favors while a member of the Clinton cabinet, and trying to cover up those activities.

A grand jury in Washington has charged Espy with accepting gifts, trips and favors worth more than $35,000 from major businesses working with the Agriculture Department while he headed the agency in 1993 and 1994.

He was indicted in 1997, but headed the Dept in 1993-94.

As for Cisneros:

Housing and Urban Development Secretary Henry Cisneros will leave his post after President Bill Clinton's inauguration Jan. 20 (1997).

Cisneros forwarded a formal letter of resignation to the White House this afternoon. Deputy White House spokesman Barry Toiv confirmed that Cisneros had decided to step down.

Cisneros was originally indicted in December 1997 on charges of conspiracy, making false statements and obstructing justice. The allegations stemmed from statements he had made to FBI background investigators in late 1992 and early 1993, while he was under consideration to be President Clinton's first secretary of housing and urban development.

2. Henry was a good man
who had an affair and the woman blackmailed him so his uh, delicate wife wouldn't find out. Henry neglected to mention those blackmail payments to the FBI when dicussing finances as he didn't want it to get back to his wife. Nothing he shouldbe proud of, to be certain, but the only person who did time was Linda Medlar, the woman who was blackmailing Henry.
