Lou Dobbs, Chief Hypocrite.
That fucking moron just did a "report" on the nastiness in politics and followed up with a "report" about how Howard Dean is a secretive "hypocrite."

Lou Dobbs is human garbage. A disposable waste of skin. A smelly stink-rat.

1. I call Lou Dobbs just as much a hypocrite: how much did he question lies
Edited on Fri Nov-04-05 06:40 PM by jsamuel

19. Before the election last year
Dobbs was talking about the bush administration using psy-ops on the press. That he knew it was used on the enemy but this administration used it on the press, including his own network, to fool them into passing false information to the public. He was talking to a couple other press people and trying to get their reaction, asked how you can trust anything you hear from them knowing this.

He periodically expresses outrage at their spin as well as their policies.

Dobbs disses whatever party or policy he wants to. He doesn't hold a party line as much as his own cranky opinion.

I appreciate bluntness even when he offends me with it

2. Why is Dean fighting the release of his records?
Im not challenging anyone here... I just think it is a legitimate question, that he hasn't answered

3. I tend to agree. I'm pretty much for 100% transparency
and I think secrets by our government are toxic regardless of which side of the isle they occur on.

9. Yeah, but do you think Lou Dobbs is about to do a story
on the Bush records which haven't been made public? Like his driver's license? His military records? His criminal records? His energy task force meetings?

How did Howard Dean get a story?

14. That's a different issue.
I'm not here to defend Dobbs choice of stories.

Transparency isn't a partisan issue for me.

citizens. He said they contain ltrs from private VT citizens to the governors offfice, among other things.

A lot of personal ltrs during the time Dean signed the Civil Unions Bill in VT. Also, a lot of records concerning his enactment of that law, his thoughts, strategies, etc.

13. Nonsense, names could have been redacted. And Dean also did deals
with Energy companies in Vermont that were pretty unsavory. Dean helped energy corporations deregulate using schemes that had already proved disasterous up north.

4. i am tellin ya. this is why i say doesnt behoove dems to attack
and become what the repugs are. people on this board want the dems to. they get mad that the dems dont. adn as unfair as it is, regardless the dem will lose. we will unfairly be lumped into the mudraking even though kerry and edwards worked very hard not to personally att repugs and trash them. they worked hard giving america what they wanted to do to make this country better. and they dont get credit for it.

that race in nj has yet to say who the dem is and who the repug is. i heard it also on my local radio news this morning. who has the x wife trashing him. the dem or repug

6. Saw that. He tried to compare governor docs w/SECRET OIL MTGS!
He is obviously clueless about the MILES of sealed documents from Bush's governorship here in TX! We've been trying to get access to them for YEARS, they release NOTHING.

I can't even believe he tried to compare the secret Cheney OIL MTGS affecting our national resource supply to some fucking letters written to the governor of Vermont.

Dobbs is an ignorant ass.

10. Actually, Dobbs Has A Point. It May Be A Difference Of Degree, But Dean
could have released the documents and should have.

And they weren't just a bunch of "letters".

12. Well, I don't expect you to ever be anything but negative about Dean
so I doubt we can have a productive conversation about what is contained in Dean's files from his governorship.

15. Excuse Me? I can think of quite a lot of positive things to say about Dean
and just about EVERY politician ends up being hypocritical on some things.

It's called the real world.

The difference between myself and the blind adulators of various candidates is I RESPOND TO ACTUAL RECORDS.
