BIRD FLU CONCERN --- HAAAA-HAAAA-HEEEEE
a few days ago I posted this:
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=104&topic_id=5251965

well - it happened - was doing some channel surfing and there was a Q&A about bird flu on CNN

question from a viewer: concerned about feeding birds in the winter, can it attract infected birds.....

ok boys&girls next question: how long before bird seed companies and/or bird groups get their feathers in a frenzy and issue statements denying that feeding birds increases risk of contracting bird flu?

1. I don't give a fuck anymore. We all die of something someday.
The only thing is, that time for us all is coming much sooner than we expect.

Via bird flu, mad cow, mad politician (nuke armageddon), congenital physical abnormalities or defects, no job to make the money to be able to survive, 24 hour shifts...

Enjoy what is left.

For there is no tomorrow.

6. While quite nihilistic, your post is also frighteningly realistic
It is too bad that we currently live in a world where death is constantly snapping at our heels. Terra Terra Terra. Flu Flu Flu. Cancer Cancer Cancer. It gets exhausting having death shouted in our ears with megaphones every day of our lives. This is not good for us.

stunt on the part of BushCo and the companies making the flu shots.

What a bunch of lemmings. It is pathetic. It provides insight into how these dimwits ended up voting for Dimson...and still think he is so great.

 :puke: :eyes:  :dunce: :spank: :grr:  :banghead:

5. swine flu...
remember swine flu? it was the 'black' death with a bit a cheese on rye! then it turned out that the vaccine killed as many as any victims of 'swine' flu, which suddenly disappeared from news (hell, it never happened! there was never a nationwide 80's era alert about 'swine flu' that's just not true...foxnews has the facts if you want to be informed; i must be reading too much chomsky, not enuff tv guide!)

7. i asked my doctor if I should take any precautions ....
She said, what do you think?

I said, it's mostly over-hyped.

She said, yes. And went off on a rant about how it's being blown completely out of proportion. Compared it to Anthrax and the Cipro buying frenzy.

So no Tamiflu for me.

But just in case, does anyone know any good home remedies for the flu? :P
