Bush just had news conference in Panama!
I hope you all saw it. I'd like to address aspects of it with those who did, and inform those who didn't.

Point ONE

OMG, he's cracking up!!

1. Two talking points?
Democracy and free trade..

Remember, Bush41 attacked Panama in 89 .. all for democracy of course.

(sardasm intended)

2. He was asked direct questions about CIA prisons and ...
... and Cheney's endorsement of them.

He didn't repudiate them, and seemed to say that whatever the US does to deal with the threat of terror is justified.

When asked if he would allow Red Cross to see people held at these prisons, he filibustered some more.

When asked about Cheney's position on it, he didn't answer directly.

When asked about his campaign promise to do more than required by law, he wouldn't answer.

18. The rabi blancos in Panama don't hate him.
Just like the filthy rich Republicans don't hate him. He's moving this country in the same direction as Panama now exists. With an upperclass of 10% owning 90% of the money and resources.

6. Oh..
_That_

How bad does that make Bush and the USA look? He doesn't speak for me, but his office speaks for the entire USA, and he makes us look like we approve of psychotic, illegal, and immoral uses of detaining and torture.

Gawd!

Sue

9. He "can't wait to meet those great baseball players!"
Holy shit... this retard is POTUS?

The 2 questions he got from the American press were on these topics:

1. CIA Leak Investigation
2. Secret CIA prisons around the world ("will the US let The Red Cross inspect these prisons?")

HA HA HA... no relief from the shit storm for Chimp.

13. Saw it in my breakfast place (with audio muted). Linemen at next table..
The two power company linemen at the next table started talking about what a "motherf****r" Bu$h is, when he came on the screen. These South Carolina bible-belt working men are pissed at Bu$h. I just listened and learned.

15. Wouldn't you think even non-political people would start to get
pissed off at his clumsy dodges of the CIA leak questions?

I mean THIS is the guy they say is straight forward and a plain speaker?

Keep it up, Dubya.

16. even one of his main apologists, David Brooks, was complaining about
Bush's incompetence/lack of planning once in Iraq. This was last Fri. on CPTV, "Brooks and Shields."

Brooks is an ass but now even he is dissing Chimp and Co.

21. Bush tries to bogart his way past every hard question
The quality of the people he has working for him is a good example of why his operation is such a mess.

Freedom doesn't get the respect it used to get.
