Anyone See Family Guy Last Night?
They did a fantastic satire on the FCC.

Best bit was when the Griffins were watching television after the FCC had cracked down. They were watching the (deleted) Van (deleted) Show, starring (deleted) Van (deleted).

12. During the NFL pregame show
the MAD TV guy ( I forget his name)who does a comedy bit every show, did one making fun of Bush, all of the commentators said it was the funniest one he ever did, and at the end of the Simpson's halloween show the "scary credits" listed the Republican party...

6. The Police Squad intro
was hilarious, too.

How does this stuff get onto Fox? I realize that when the show premiered, Clinton was president and the show took some shots at him, but still ...

15. I understand that Fox entertainment shows have different ...
... management than the so-called news shows. Shows like Family Guy and American Dad are out to make cash from advertisers and to sell DVDs.

17. Yes Matt Groening and now Seth McFarlane are pulling in the ratings
I've attended panel discussions with both those guys and that question always comes up. The answer is always the same, the more eyeballs they deliver to advertisers the more they can get away with.

But to hear tales of some of the ways they slip stuff past the censors; it's pretty outrageous.

the Police Squad intro was quite the emotional transition.

7. It was pretty good.
I think Family GUy is a terribly lazy show; but they can still do a good episode now and again.
