17. Laura should let her hair go its natural color.
Women color their hair as they age, but they shouldn't. The problem is that as your hair looses pigment, usually, so does your skin. The contrast makes you look tired. She needs help. I know it is unpopular to say this on DU, but she could be quite attractive if she got some good advice.

ie - if your 35 - 35 is an appropriate skirt length. Actually I think from that point on your skirt can stay at 35". I can't remember the exact rules, but I recall Stacy London explaining on What Not to Wear. (to a woman who was "mutton dressed up as lamb" as Stacy's Brit counterparts so politely put it)

obviously her resume didn't help, but the fashion sense automatically leads one to assume that this woman isn't capable, because she can't even get herself dressed properly in the morning.


don't underestimate looking properly put together. people will make assumptions about your abilities if you present yourself in an inappropriate and/or sloppy manner. I think Eistein may have gotten a pass ont hat one.


But how many times even here do you hear someone talking about laura's dress sense? or earlier about meiers eyeliner (it was a travesty) or that god awful pleated short skirt.

Besides older women wear shorts. Why not knee length skirts? Also, Pickles doesn't even wear long skirts. I think she'd look a lot better in skirts than those butt hugging pants she favors. Because those pants do not favor her butt.

but i don't think even she ventures much above knee-length tho.

I do agree pickles butt-hugging pants do her no favors tho. Maybe she should invest in some palazzo pants and pencil skirts.

as for older women wearing shorts - you know the kinds of shorts older women wear, right? they are usually quite close to knee length too.
