Tim Robbins on Charlie Rose......about the last half hour talking

about politics and Iraq....

If you have a chance to watch it, do so.
Robbins is direct and effective. Rose isn't messing with him very much. In fact, he admitted that Congress couldn't get any answers before the Iraq vote, which is surprising, because he shills for the Admin. often.

Robbins coming across as a balanced guy, not a wild-eyed radical as many would like to paint him.

Wants to see the plan...

Rose now trying to say there's no one who wouldn't want to have Robbins on to talk...
Robbins mentions getting cut off on NBC...Yeah, I can go on shows, but what is the message when there are ramifications when you speak?
Factions of the media that will come after you....Rose is acting SHOCKED..
So many people that are intimidated....you have freedom of speech if you feel you can use it...

ROBBINS IS THE BEST!!!!

speaking of seeing online... What's the best place to go to watch the democratic primary debates online? C-span usually takes 2 weeks before the feed comes out... any other options??

we were roomates Junior year at UCLA. Smart, talented guy, and yes, had a tendency to be a bit "wild-eyed" at times.

Hope he gets into politics.

As for "wild-eyed," thank God -- there's a man who's been "wild-eyed" with passion in his beliefs, as opposed to red-eyed, red-nosed, and unable to account for a year and a half of his life.

I knew I liked that boy as soon as Sarandon hooked up with him. ;)

I couldn't believe it when Rose asked Robbins what he thought the real reason we attacked Iraq was and Robbins said he didn't know.

Is it possible Robbins isn't familiar with the Project for the New American Century and their September 2000 report?

How can we get through to Tim Robbins? Not just an e-mail message to a publicist. How can we get info to Tim?

Other than that, great interview.

When the show ended and they listed the sponsors, I got a good laugh that GE and Bloomberg just paid for that show.

Republican Eastwood publicly defended Robbins after Dale Petroskey cancelled the Baseball Hall of Fame's "Bull Durham" event, because of Robbins's vocal opposition to the Iraq War.
