is that a guy like David Gregory, who knows EXACTLY what's going on and has all along, asks really tough questions and is clearly outraged during these sessions, but then goes on the air, often pretty namby-pamby. Come on, let's get it on.

18. Howard Fineman just said that it's a dangerous road that the
White House is going down if they're going to start accusing people (i.e. the front row of the press corps) of not agreeing with the majority of Americans on White House techniques. He said it sounded "Nixonesque". Unfortunately, I'm not a good transcriber but he seemed chilled by today's press conference. I'm going to have to go to C-Span now so that I can see the whole damn exchange. Looked entertaining and scary.
