Netflix chairman gives up to $730,000 to arnold's prop 77....
an article in today's LA Times says "Netflix chairman Reed Hastings gave away $730,000 in the special election campaign. Most of it went to proposition 77, which would authorize retired judges - rather than lawmakers - to draw legislative and congressional boundaries."

he claims "improving California is a multi decade effort, not a one fix shot."

the entire article is about how it seems big money donors are not getting campaign fatigue over this election and will be back with lots of cash for next year when arnold is up for reelection.

I'm all for calling up and complaining about this but c'mon people the CEO of netflix is a staunch blue donor, just because some chairman privately is a repuke is no reason to boycott the company. It's one thing if the entire company support the repukes, but one higher up doesn't speak for all the higher ups.

Plus what's your alternative to netflix? get jipped by fully red donor Blockbuster??

Yea there are your local video stores too that aren't chains, but A, some of us don't want to deal with the hassles of traffic and late fees, and B for the price Netflix is tough to be beat.

But do what you want. Just my 2 cents.
