Jarhead
we went to watch it the other day... and I will not give you spoilers

Just will point two things

This is a very intense anti war movie

Keep the kids at home, I was shaking my head when I saw young teens and under in there with their parents. Though if yuo know of a sixteen year old who is gonig, I wanna enlist, TAKE THEM and make them seat throgh it and then discuss it.

2. Interesting
I didn't know it was an anti-war movie. I just figured it was a typical "about war" movie.

5. I disagree...take those young teens
They are being brainwashed and desensitized about the violence of war by the video game industry, which has developed war games in partnership with the US military.

They need something to counter balance that.

6. It is the sex if you get my point
if you've watched it you will understand... as to the desentitations I know, I have written a war setting for the RPG I am working on and guess what, major characters will and are dying... or getting so majorly changed by war it is not even funny...

the language I didn't give a chenney, it is liberally used and they did not clean up the langauage, oops spoiler

7. I agree
And if this film does it than take them. Especially if they are thinking about joining with Iraq going on and Bushie wanting to invade all these other places. Joining the military is a serious thing to think about. Once you sign that line that's it.

10. Good on Jake Gyllenhaal and all the follks who made the movie.
I hate tragic movies, but good for him and the folks who cast the movie. Jamie Fox and all....

The kids will watch it.
