So What Happened To Diebold in '05?
The Bush/Diebold conspirators decided to let us have an off year?

Doubtful but, what can I say, I have a new Dem governor and I'm feeling hopeful this evening.

5. What do these votes mean? I can't believe that Katherine
Blackwell is still employed there. That is such a travesty and an insult.

4. Likely reserved for Congress or Presidential elections.
No sense taking the risk for this one.

6. Maybe Kilgore's internal numbers were bad and he could not risk it?
I do not know. Perhaps Diebold only targets selective race.

17. Open Source?
Please forgive if this has been asked and answered, but has there been any move to have voting software open sourced? There couldn't be much debate about the legitimacy of election results if the software used was posted on the net for all to see. It would probably make for less problems too. Just a thought...

18. Diebold MUST provide receipt for voting machines no ifs ands or buts
These two elections don't verify Diebold as proof positive they can't and weren't hacked in Ohio. Blackwell, merely stayed uncooperative and they didn't get a legit recount vote, voting districts checked were supposed to have been randomly picked instead of cherry picked.

19. Ohio still looks stranger than strange right now.
And that's what it boils down to. Ohio is a pivotal swing state in deciding MAJOR elections, and if 2-5 don't pass, the GOP retains their stronghold, AND their electronic voting. Ask me again about this when Ohio is in. It doesn't make much difference to Diebold and their influence over Presidential elections if a couple of states pick up (or retain) Dem govs. What does matter is does Ohio keep voting on Diebold equipment, and do the Secs. of State keep "overseeing" elections?

I don't trust O'Dell and his dirty ilk as far as I can throw one of his easily hacked, paperless machines. And if those machines stay in Ohio (or anywhere) we don't have results we can trust, and never will. Why no paper trail? Is it too much to ask?
