Chances for a Bush impeachment just shot way up
I still don't believe impeachment is likely, but I do think you'll see droves of Republicans getting as far from the administration as they can.

The Angel of Death has paid a visit to the Kilgore campaign in the form of a joint appearance. Bush is death to your campaign. That's the message ringing in the ears of every elected Republican right this minute.

George W Bush has had the most spectacular of downhill runs starting with Terri Schaivo, moving along with Cindy Sheehan, Katrina/FEMA/Brownie, Miers, Plamegate, all with the hideous backdrop of an illegal war with no remaining rationale for existence.

If George Bush gets anywhere close to your GOP election/re-election campaign, you're cooked.

How many friends will Bush have by the time next November comes around?

2. If this trends next year and we get the offices, bush is impeached.
he has a 10K enemies list data base. I would kill to know what is on it and how they got it. Broken laws anyone?

3. Bush's whole life has been nothign but downhill runs
And failures. It's just that every time he's down, he gets propped up by his daddy and his friends, and unfortunately, we have to pay for it.

There was no way a guy who drove two oil businesses into the ground in Texas with financial backing from Saudis could maintain his so called invincibility in a much harder job like president.

10. They threw the deed to the ranch on the table for one last hand
I've heard analysis on and off for a couple of days hyping this as Bush's big moment, to either start to claw his way to a comeback, or seal his fate as a lame duck, an ineffective President not trusted or believed by the public, behind in the polls in every category, including anti-terrorism/public safety.

Little Hitler can start to collect his belongings at a fairly leisurely pace so that they'll be ready for the sojurn to the pig farm.

Oh, and a depressing ps: Syria is fucked, and we probably are in the process too. I just read somewhere else in these pages that asshole John Bolton argued with Kofi Annon today r.e. whether Syria was now complying with the UN resolution. Guess which side Bolton took.

But the Syria gambit may not work for them. The Boy already cried wolf, and by god if the rest of the country didn't finally figure that out. We'll see.

16. I missed the pre-edit reply
but they're certainly making noise as if they want to attack Syria. Maybe they're just floating the idea, I don't know, but all the right noises are being made for a brand new war.

17. There will be no support for it. The PEOPLE will revolt. They have to know
that.

A new war with a new country now? Will not happen - unless...

Unless there is an attack here on the homeand so horrifying, that we again back bush and what he has helped plant, then there is no more.

Either there is a new attack by bushco on yet another (surely middleeastern and "enemy of Israel") nation without an "event" here, or action after "event" here, or no action.

They're gonna have, HELL - WE"RE gonna have, a huge fucking nationwide mess if they try to invade another country with no more than a "'cuz we said so" reason.

sorry, rant off

Saw a clip of bush with kilgore and bush looked particularly awful. I am loving seeing the asshole with no swagger, no smirk.

he doesn't seem to need Monkey's help in being defeated, he's doing a bang-up job on his own.

18. I believe that man will be impeached.
And I'm not just basing that on hope (although my hope is strong). I think if the Democrats take the House next year, it's a done deal. For the next year, they will campaign on the misuse of intel, the misleading us into war, and this is exactly what they should be campaigning on. But, when they win, they'll have to do something about it in order to remain credible on the issue.

It's going to happen.

I've been disappointed in them lots of times these last several years. I'm "cautiously optimistic" I guess.

btw, Carl Hiaasen's books crack me up.
