Vernon Robinson Defeat Watch: He's going DOWN!!!
Dateline: Winston-Salem, NC.

With only three precints left to report, Winston-Salem native and Democrat Molly Leight is leading incumbent Republican Vernon Robinson (the self acclaimed "Black Jesse Helms") in the race for City Council-South Ward. With this win, Leight will send Robinson home where he belongs and usher in a new era of responsible, mature leadership representing the South Ward of Winston-Salem.

3. It sure does but...
we should watch out. Old Vernon might get the urge to run for something else. The Crone of Ages, Virginia Foxx (R) beat him in the Repug primaries for the House seat last year. He loves to get his name in the papers. No telling what he'll do next.

I think he's living in a retirement home.

He did commercials for Burr, the horrible Repub Senator who beat Bowles for Edwards seat.

13. Most of the LTE (WSJournal) the past two weeks have been anti-Robinson
His constituents say he never returns their calls or attends to any of their concerns.
He is the worst kind of politician. He manipulates people on fear and bigotry and doesn't try to sugar-coat it.
