So let me get this straight. Kilgore was leading most of the way
Bush shows up at the last minute and BAM, Kaine is going to win with over 51% of the vote.

The Republicans act all pissed off and call for an investigation of the leaking of information about CIA gulags and BAM, Lott reveals that all of the information was given to a secret meeting of REpublican Senators so a Republican Senator is the leaker.

This week is shaping up to be worse than the last three weeks combined for Bush!

And we could be looking at a Rove indictment at any moment!

His presence is becoming the kiss of death for them.

8. Not really, Kilgore had a slight lead until his big over-the-top
death penalty ads. His lead slipped away after that. He avoided Bush during his last visit but was pressured into appearing with him yesterday. It did not help and probably was the death toll for his campaign.

The death penalty was not even on the radar screen in VA this election. While the repubs tried to exploit divisive issues, the democrats stuck to important State and local issues. That's why they did well.
