2. It may sound silly, but he sucks
With 74 percent of the city's 104 precints reporting, the Star Tribune is calling the race for former City Council member Chris Coleman. Coleman had more than twice as many votes as the mayor 29,373-13,061. Ahead of the election, three independent polls showed voters were primed to fire Kelly, and most cited his support for Bush as the reason.

"It may sound silly, but Kelly was for Bush and I'm not,'' said retiree Audrey Guith after casting her vote for Coleman.

15. Weasel and a traitor
Don't forget...Norm Coleman is not only a weasel, he's a turncoat himself. While he was the mayor of St. Paul, Norm decided to switch to the GOP.

Nothing made me happier than seeing Jesse Ventura beat him in the gubernatorial race of 1998. Nothing made me angrier than seeing Coleman win Wellstone's Senate seat in 2002.

26. uh, you mean Norm GOLDMAN?
apparently Norm is so opportunistic that he changed his name during law school so that us dumb hicks in flyover land wouldn't realize he was a Jew from Brooklyn. Compare that to Paul Wellstone who was proud of who he was, and is damn near considered a saint by a lot of people in rural Minnsota who aren't that politically active.

21. Sorry, but . . . .
. . . in the future, could we not have the words "in bed," "go down," and "GWB" together in the same sentence?

Some of us have to eat sometime.

5. Yup, he's going down 2 to 1
For those who don't know, the reference is to Randy Kelly, the DINO mayor of St. Paul, who endorsed, of all people, the Bushboy in 2004.

See the Minnesota forum for details. :7
