We know Diebold layed off in Virginia, but not in Ohio. What do you think are our chances?

4. I'm really interested to see what and where they decided to
manipulate tonight.

They had to do Ohio, to protect Blackwell.

Let's see what else we can turn up.

(And meanwhile, NOTHING on cable, little on local)

The way I have it figured is that it turned out that way for a reason and it is not because the people spoke.

Since they let Shelley become toast, I've little trust in our state Dems, let alone in the GOP who wants to gobble up CA.

I am now back in Ohio...how can our Issues 2, 3, 4, and 5 fail so miserably.....just over the weekend, 2 and 3 were polling beautifully....4 was behind...and 5 was close. It reminds me of Georgia elections in '02. Totally rigged or I live in a state of stupid assholes....gee, what a choice.

They are going to mess with LA County votes, mark my words. They know this is where Arnold is MOST hated...especially LA city. That's why I was counting on the rest of the state to give a good foundation so maybe all we needed to do was tip the balance.
The Right's gonna get what they could never achieve on their own, here in CA, recriminilizing abortion.
And the Constitution is going to be changed before the women in this state even realize what they have lost.

67. I think it's projections based on early precinct returns
If you click down you can see the percentage of precincts 'in' from called counties is actually pretty low.

On a positive note, some HUGE democratic counties still need to be counted. I hope it's enough!!!

At least those counted in San Diego are the absentee ballots. We still have a long way to go. Not much more than a 10th of the votes have been counted. I've already noticed that prop 75 went from 56.8% to 55% now, so keep hope!

127. I may be wrong here, but I suspect it is more a desire to get ALL $ out
of politics. Look forward to seeing a proposition in the next election that will do the same thing as 75, except to the corporations. From what I can remember that proposition (if it gets on the ballot) will make corps have a vote of the shareholders to ok any political donation!

..I think those are the absentee numbers...remember that each voter theoretically voted on all the issues, so if you have 8 propositions, each with 100,000 votes cast, it means that EACH issue got those votes individually, NOT cumulatively, ie it means that there are 100,000 votes counted 1 time on 8 issues, NOT 800,000 votes in total...

180. Election problems? Report them here- important
The election problems aren't over- the system is still a mess. so it important to monitor and be active in preventing corrupt practices.
Here's how:

If you experience any problem casting your ballot -- finding the polling place, voter intimidation, accessibility issues, voting machine problems, provisional ballot
issues, etc. -- or you witness anyone having voting problems, please immediately
call 1-866-OUR-VOTE to report the problem. Please let others know too... the same number works nationwide.

Verified Voting Foundation volunteers and staff have developed a new version of the "Election Incident Reporting System" (EIRS) to record all problems reported to 1-866-OUR-VOTE. Since 2004, hundreds of organizations and thousands of individuals in the United States have used EIRS to help protect our right to vote and assure that every vote is counted as cast. If you'd like to know more about
EIRS, please visit VerifiedVotingFoundation.org and Voteprotect.org

California had problem with touch screen switching in 2004 election;
likely even more in this one

203. I think those are pretty safe calls.
73 is really down to the wire though. Only 10,000 votes putting it in the yes column.

201. I Just Did A County By County Check On Results!!
Most counties with over 200,000 voting YES on 73, 74 & 75 have MORE results in than the other large counties that have over 200,000 voters.

Very few results in for Alameda, Contra Costa, LA, and San Francisco counties. These look to be good bets to vote NO on 73, 74 & 75.

San Mateo is kicking, Santa Clara looks good & Sonoma looks good too!

Can't get a good bead about Stanislaus or San Bernardino.

I don't know the lay of the land out there, but from doing the check just now I feel pretty HOPEFUL!
