12. CA's electorate is so politically heterogenous spread out across a huge
state that results from 7 per cent of precincts doesn't mean anything unless you know exactly what precincts they are.

20. Generally, the early returns in Calif are more conservative
The big counties come in later. I'm fairly happy so far. It's close and that's good in early returns.

28. IMPORTANT -look at the county status tabs before drawing
conclusions. The summary page is a pure vote count with votes disproportionately in rural areas (Lassen county is at 100% reporting, for example.) If you look at individual counties where most votes have been counted on 73 seems even close at this point.
