Stop all the complaining...this administration has done so much
Edited on Tue Nov-08-05 11:40 PM by capaylib
I just watched today's White House briefing with good old Scott and it just drove home to me how wrong I have been about our leaders. After all, they take steps, they make progress, they have meetings, they "talk" about things, they work hard, they do not comment on ongoing legal proceedings, they thank people for just being them, they visit, they make things "clear". They have people on the ground, they speak for the american people, they are committed, they stay the course, they don't engage in the blame game.....and they subject themselves to rigorous refresher courses in ethics. At the end of the day.....it is usually already the end of the next day for them....they are working "so hard"!

Why am I complaining, what more can we really expect there are only 24 hours in the days newscycle.

2. and we expect them to be polite too
I swear that if what is happening today wasn't so tragic, this would be hysterical. If I wasn't able to laugh at the obscentiy of it all, I would spend all my time crying.

I hope that the facade is truly starting to crumble this time and I want to see it as it happens, real time, 24 hours a day, on my TV!

PS- Amy Goodman ROCKS!

4. told my boys a bunch of adults in bush adm would be taking ethic
courses. to learn how to be ethical. their face was comical. they want to know how grown adults can be so uneducated to not know ethics by this time in their life.

7. Already buried
I am going to have to save me best wit for slower news days....my thread is already buried......maybe I'm a little narcissistic, but I was hungry for discourse.
