8. I'm an educator, too
But in a college, not the school system. I have, however, been a member of the teacher's credit union since I became a TA and I know how much teachers have invested, both financially and emotionally, in stopping these fucking props. If 74 and 75 pass, I will lose my confidence in California's voters. They say they value education yet they hate a fair system for teachers and/or giving them an equitable political voice. It's just shameful.

24. does low turnout mean unions did not get out their voters???
there are more than 500,000 teachers in CA. that oughta count for a lot of votes, so what percent of them got out to vote?

25. 10:03 BIG news of repub spin as arnold is almost 0-4!
31% of the vote in

prop 75 union dues "winning" by 51-49 and narrowing!!!

"quite possible all of arnold's props will fail by the end of the night".

REPUB SPIN IS NOW that arnold will say the people have gone a different direction than him and he will "go with them" because he is a populist.

repubs say the vote is NOT a referendum on arnold hahaha

29. 10:20 arnold speaks part 2
says he does not know which props are gonna lose in the end
have to wait for the morning

will continue to try to make CA a great state...the golden state that it once was.

(is now sucking up to the dems in legislature..arnie is VERRRRY smooth)

no personal animosity

let's work together, find common ground, think of new reforms, bad ideas the bigger the better.

then I am going to china (on a trip paid for by his campaign contributors haha)

return from asia and get down to business, rebuild infrastructure,
more nurses, teachers, firefighters, police

need more bipartisanship Californians believe state is on wrong track

sick and tired of negative tv ads (many of which were his)

I want to close with a personal note not political..I want to do the right thing for the people of CA (big applause) so honored and privileged to be governor, will continue to work as hard as I can so you will be proud of me.

thanks for coming!

30. news assessments: sounds like arnold has begun reelection campaign!
all optimistic and outreaching. you'd think from his tone he had won EVERYTHING.

he said he thinks Californians think the state is on the wrong track and HE IS RIGHT> we think he ought to resign after wasting all this money and time.
