This is a victory for organized labor, especially public employees.
They spent $$$$$$$$$$$$$ defeating props 74 and 75 in California, and even put on commercials criticizing Schwarzenegger directly, without even mentioning the propositions. I thought that was a pretty bold thing to do when Schwarzenegger himself wasn't actually on the ballot this time. This makes me feel a lot better about the future of unions - at least public employee unions.

1. I'm very proud of the fight my union mounted to defeat props 74-76....
It was touch and go there for a while, but it's looks like we prevailed. I've very happy!

7. Let's examine why...prop 76 was the prop that kicked ass with 65%
Edited on Wed Nov-09-05 03:23 AM by Zinfandel
When it's all over, 65% out of ALL the rest... How do we dems keep that up, and put it into use, to show the republicans for what they are?

Prop 76 out of all of them, what was it...that cancapitalize on instead of just being giddy?

Why 76?
