2. I live in Mississippi, and I have no idea what you're talking about
since I never watch TV. What was the program about? Yes, the state is a theocracy, but remember there are more liberal Democrats here than there are in Vermont. It would be nice if you didn't lump us together with the "pukes." As a native Georgian, I'm accustomed to living in a theocracy, so it's really nothing new. Right now, where I am, the only thing anyone is thinking about is recovering from Hurricane Katrina.

6. My sincerest apologies, and condolences. . .
Didn't mean to lump you altogether. I just wonder how you can stand these people is all.

Your efforts to live amongst them are noble but it seems that resistance in their world is futile. Hang tough though. I still say you should leave them to wallow.

9. And then there was the whole thing on the counseling clinics.
They don't give any abortion information, but they do provide some diapers and maybe even a stroller.

The same old story about "pro life". It is "pro life in utero." Once you pass through that birth canal man, you're on your own. And if the going is rough then you're just not good enough.:puke:

10. Abortions in MS now require transportation and a lot of money, time
None of which are problems to some folks in MS.

Watch Frontline. See theocracy in action.
