Soledad O.Brian is positively giddy on CNN this morning,
Edited on Wed Nov-09-05 08:10 AM by tinfoilinfor2005
Every time she talks about the republicans losing last night, her grin goes ear to ear. She's actually glowing. So do you think she might be a dem? And Miles is pretty jovial as well.

On the other hand, every time I've peeked in on faux news, you would think they were conducting a funeral ceremony. Not a smile in the house. And as yet, I haven't heard the elections mentioned over there, although I can't stomach a long visit.

2. Well are you sure it is not a grin caused by...
her strain to keep from crying? She has been a very loyal media poodle for the chimp for at least the past few years.

7. Okay, I need a playbook here.
The last time I turned on the television, she and Bill Hemmer were co-anchoring CNN's morning show. When did they hop to Faux? And WHY?!?!?!

15. Oh, it's not just you.
There have been several mentions of her in connection with Faux news recently. In fact, someone included a screen shot of her in a photoshop montage about Faux news headlines throughout history. That's why I'm so confused.

21. "rating points"
Unless you're filling out a Nielsen diary, nobody has any idea which channel you're watching. Helps me to remember that sometimes! :)

10. Not Sure About Soledad...But Have My Feelings About Costello
Somehow I get a feeling Soledad is one of us. She used to impress me when she was on NBC and has become a corporate "cutie" for the higher profile and bigger money at CNN.

The one I've gotten to like is Carol Costello. One morning she tore some doofus Repugnican Congersscritter a fifth asshole and was extremely critical of this regime during the Katrina coverage.

I broke my longtime embargo of Faux Noise last night to watch Hannity and Dickhead Morris cry all over each other. They had that slime that was claiming Wilson outted his wife in a Faux green room (I hope Wilson's lawyer sues this bastard and names Murdoch, Roger Ailes and Hannity as co-defendents).

11. Our local news crew were laughing and exchanging goofy jokes.
They all seemed in exceptionally good spirits.

Usually, they are pleasant and professional, however, this morning, there was a perceptible upbeat atmosphere. MKJ

But most of our local news show people seem to be in a party mood.

14. Local CBS affiliate in WACO
never mentioned anything about California, New Jersey and Virginia. They did put in their ticker scroll that Republican Bloomberg won in NYC.

19. Nope.. The on-air prompter-readers are interested in conflict
of any kind. Stuff like this feeds the news beast for hours on end and given them something to talk about.. they can swing either way..
