Dick Cheney in South Dakota for annual hunting trip
By The Associated Press Wednesday, November 09, 2005

PIERRE, S.D. (AP) -- Vice President Dick Cheney returned to South Dakota Monday for his annual pheasant hunting trip.

His plane landed at the Pierre airport about 10:40 a.m.

This marks the fifth year Cheney has gone pheasant hunting in South Dakota as vice president.

He is staying at a private hunting lodge near Gettysburg and is expected to be in the state for a few days.

this isn't any sort of photo-op. :eyes: Remember when Kerry went hunting? Nobody cared than that he was an actual hunter and sportsman but they labeled him as doing a photo-op. :eyes:

20. Real western pheasant hunting entails walking for miles
over broken terrain and stubble. No way could the cardiac kid do this. This is a European-style driven pheasant hunt with pen-raised birds. It's actually pheasant shooting, not pheasant hunting.
