After Elections, Freepers Obsession With France Gets Psychopathic!
I'm sure you noticed that FoxNews was pretty much All France Burning, all the time rather than oh, U.S. ELECTION COVERAGE? last night.

The Freepers have been loving the troubles in France bigtime, after the trouncing the GOP took last night it's to a whole new level. Check this out -- one of them does google searches to "prove" that the French aren't "sobbing" enough about this dilemma, by contract, when we had the Katrina debacle there were over 1000 "sob" references...I'M NOT MAKING THIS UP!

1. France Provided more than
20 million dollars in aide to the gulf coast after the hurricane and is lending art pieces now in the Louvre to be displayed at the New Orleans Museum sometime in the future. They are also providing continued assistance to musicians and artists from New Orleans. They also were a willing ally of President Clinton in the nineties maintaining the legitimate no-fly zone (providing manpower and jets) over Iraq which weakened saddam and allowed the weapons inspectors to succeed in their mission. They also were wise enough to know that bush was lying long ago. I hope their troubles get resolved, but France, like New Orleans will be back and better soon.

Can you imagine a freeper in the Louvre?

3. A freeper in the Louvre? They'd probably think that was French for "loo"
and piss on the closest Picasso.

5. What Freeps Fail To Realize It That France Has These Problems
Edited on Wed Nov-09-05 02:35 PM by DistressedAmerican
because of racist and elitist freeper style policies. They better pay attention and remember what happens when freep policies filter on down.

6. Every other thread is the riots in France
I admit it's serious and cause for concern, but they are obsessing over it and nothing else.

9. I guess so
It's just been one negative thing coming out about Boosh after another. Denial only works for so long, avoidance is better, I guess.

confession: I've had the TV off for most of the day. I turned it off because there wasn't any "news".

I guess that explains the unfunny joke regarding the France riots I received from a Freeper acquaintance today. Predictable.

17. Was that an article that begins with these paragraphs?
Someone in the F1 forum I frequent posted this drivel:
Got That "Ooo La La, Intifada" Feeling?
by Steven Plaut
November 06, 2005

Well, there are very few things as amusing these days as watching the French grapple with their backyard intifada. The suburbs of Paris are now more dangerous than Jenin, and the French are getting their comeuppance for decades of snootiness, for anti-American and anti-Israel agitprop, for decades of cowardice, and especially for the repulsive French love of old Jerry Lewis movies.

Paris is now being targeted by violent rioting hordes. For years, the French accused American racism of having produced the race riots in the US in the 1960s and 1970s, as well as the Los Angeles riots after the Rodney King business. And the French are sure that only Jewish cussedness and just plain Israeli evil lie behind the behavior of the Palestinian pogromchiki. The Gall of dem Galls!

Well, now that the French are experiencing their own intifada, we suggest that they resolve the problem using the very same plan that they have been trying for decades to impose upon Israel. Yes, comrades, it is time to implement the Land for Peace Plan, Paris-style. Here it is:

It gets worse from there. A shame too -- I considered the person very civilized even after knowing he was a Republican. But then he started posting junk like that for no reason.

There are other people there who I know are Republicans but they don't do that shit -- the forum is about auto racing and that's what they discuss there.

Also, that was posted with no link, but I googled and posted the link, which is http://www.israelnationalnews.com/article.php3?%20id=5720

15. If the S.O.B. has little to do with France and a lot to do with the ...
... debacle of Katrina relief, it stands to reason he wouldn't be mentioned in connection with France's troubles.
Indeed, Katrina relief had several S.O.B.'s that failed miserably.
