Biggest lie of all time from oil companies: Regulations stand in the way
of building new refineries. It's a lie. They don't seem to have any problem CLOSING refineries!

2. its just that they dont want to pay
the pittance building them to meet enviromental regs would cost. its not an obstacle its an unwillingness.

3. Yeah, that's bullshit! They have greatly enlarged many of the refineries
So the tired old crap, "There isn't enough refining capacity" doesn't wash.

Plus, every other large industry in America is eager to move some of its work offshore to other countries. But the oil companies are such good citizens, they wouldn't THINK of doing anything (such as refining) elsewhere, right? They wouldn't want all those Americans to lose their jobs just so they could enhance profits, right?

4. These guys are sharing
credibility with the current administration--zilch. They have loads of profits--enough to make sure the think tankers are publishing the position papers that will promote their desires--whether religious, regulatory or whatever.

8. MSM continues to push this lie
even after the oil companies have admitted that there was no demand and it was a simple economic decision. MSM is a haven for traitors. Individuals should be removed.

9. When they released reserves after Katrina
it was noted that there was plenty of idle refining capacity.
