election are regretting it so much (they might even feel partially responsible for the war and the rest of the nightmare * created) that they have stayed away from the recent polls and will easily switch to anyone against reps for the 06 election. Just to clear their consciences.

1. Well
People who voted Bush 2004 should feel guilty about Iraq. Bush ran on Iraq literally.

2. I think they've bought in
Guilt and regret are unpleasent emotions. Most poeple try to avoid unpleasent emotions. So they find reasons why voting for Bush was still the right thing to do. Pleasent fantasys like "Things are going great in Iraq, it's just that the Media is lying to us all the time." Or "I'll bet everything is really the fault of those evil liberals. They are making it hard for President Bush."

3. Not hardly
My brother- in- law, and sister- in- law, who live next door, think that shrub and evil brother Jeb are just the greatest people ever. The in-laws are nice people, just very pro-life, and willfully ignorant of everything else. And, unfortunately, they vote.

8. Yeah, and if Roe Gets Overturned and Abortion Banned
Your inlaws will be voting Repub because the Repubs are for overturning Griswold v. Connecticut.

5. Don't bet on it.......
If the election was held today they'd vote for him again. If they weren't smart enough to figure it out in 2004, they aren't smart enough to change. Besides I'm sure the administration and media would do a good enough job making people feel un-American for voting against Dumbya.

And quite frankly, I don't give a damn if they feel guilty now. They're idiots.
