People are turning around! Listened to Danny Bonaduce on the radio

this morning, always do, he and jamie are FUNNY. But Danny has been a HUUUUUGE supporter of the war and has generally been every bit as gullible as most americans. BUT for some reason, he started reading "Dude, Where's My Country" by Michael Moore and boy, is HE "REVELATING...." He's just read about how the bush regime flew US planes around the country scooping up bin laden family members to get them outta the US on 9.12 and is he ever pissed. And he's only 75 pages into the book..

He wasn't a hard-core conservative to start with; in fact the book made him seem fairly apolitical. He made fun of whatever there was to make fun of, regardless of the political climate, which is what many comics do. If I'd had to guess his political affiliation solely based on his own presentation of himself, I'd have guessed he was Libertarian.

I imagine he's just one of those people who was frightened by the attack on the WTCs and became convinced, as so many did, that the solution to the problem of terrorism was to bomb several countries full of brown people into oblivion. He was hardly alone in that one, even among people who weren't conservative to start with.

Good on him if he's learning critical thinking skills -- maybe he can teach some of his audience. There's how you get to the 'NASCAR dads' -- educate their comedy radio jocks.

last time I saw that bastard was after Moore's Oscar speech, and he was giving Moore hell about it. "Shame on YOU, Mr Moore" he said to the camera...
