one side saying the gov't is over-reaching.

the other saying the courts will protect us.

3. Don't agree 100 percent with Rohrbacher but he does say
that the Pat Act needs to be sunsetted when the war ends (this endless war). His saying that *disappointed* NonSensenbrenner.

7. True conservatives rediscovering their principles
The Patriot Act is the crowning acheivement of American Big Government. I think there are some R's out their who actually have principles and are starting to realize this. Little by little, they're waking up to the fact that, from big government and big spending, two things they always accuse Democrats of, there's nothing about * that even remotely resembles conservatism.

Full-on civil war in the GOP is just over the horizon.
