20. If you read bartcop.com
you know Paul Harvey is an "old horse molester." Now, whether that means he's old and molests horses or he only molests old horses, I'm not entirely sure.

 :spray:

22. Really, I think they gave them out for trick or treat gifts....
for Halloween. Not that some of these people aren't deserving, but bush has doled out about 200 of these things now. They'll be showing up on Ebay soon, $100 reserve price.

5. OMG! I saw Rove's picture at the end and thought he had
received a Medal also, until I read the caption. Still, I won't be surprised to hear that he will get one, too. Par for the course.

6. I loved Mayberry RFD as much as the next guy, but
:wtf: with a medal of freedom for Andy Griffith? I got nothing at all against the guy, I even like him quite a lot.

I mean, its an improvement on Wolfie, etc, but jeeebus.

And Aretha looks like she is thinking "Hurry up, put it on and get the hell away from me."

14. Paul Harvey, pere.
Edited on Wed Nov-09-05 04:43 PM by MrMonk
He's practically an American institution.
I believe it's Paul Harvey, fils, who is presently stinking up the airwaves.

On Edit: I was wrong. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paul_Harvey

I guess the stink really is coming from the elder's mummified carcass.

19. No "honor" bestowed by the chimp is
worth the selling out that would be required to show up to receive it. I'd have way more respect for anyone who publically said, "Thanks, but no thanks. If it comes from the murdering, thieving liar, I'll take a pass."

24. I can agree with this award for some of these people.
But Paul Harvey, Andy Griffith, Alan Greenspan, and maybe even Aretha Franklin, I don't get it.

Of course, I sure didn't understand why it was given to Tenet and Bremer and that other one that got the Medal a year or so ago.
