In that letter, to be published in The New York Times on Thursday under the heading, "Judith Miller's Farewell," Ms. Miller said she was leaving partly because some of her colleagues disagreed with her decision to testify in the C.I.A. leak case.

"But mainly," she wrote, "I have chosen to resign because over the last few months, I have become the news, something a New York Times reporter never wants to be."

She noted that even before going to jail, she had "become a lightning rod for public fury over the intelligence failures that helped lead our country to war." She said she regretted "that I was not permitted to pursue answers" to questions about those intelligence failures.

never. She's in spin mode now. She's been exposed as a total whore. There are those embarrassing photos of her wearing fatigues in Iraq. And her correspondence with Scooter.
She's totally exposed. Naked.
Cheney whispered in her ear and she typed. She's a steno for the Bushies.
And now she's desperately trying to salvage her shredded reputation.
That's hopeless.
I watched Miller cheerlead for war on CSPAN's Washington Journal repeatedly.
I have no sympathy for her. She is not a victim.
She deserves America's wrath.

I read that she had "retired" from the NYT. Retired means she still gets all of her benefits and I'm sure some sort of parachute. Although probably not golden, silver or even bronze, any parachute for that lying sack of excrement is too much.
