Right-wingers are making the French riots about radical Islam

When in reality it's about almost the same reasons as we have had riots in America, poverty and race. I haven't heard about any radical islamic clerics starting this, it happened because of an incident with the police. The right-wing wants to wage a war on the Islamic religion and this is the perfect thing for them to use. The French eqivulent of the right-wing are the ones who want to stir up trouble. Then they blame it on France's socialist policies and that's bogus as well because America has had riots and we're don't have socialist policies like France.

but I thought I remembered reading something about Islamic leaders saying they do not support the riots.
