So he got 75 days @ $410.96/day after Katrina hit the gulf.

That is $30,822.00 for one of the biggest screw ups in
American history.

3. Amtrak has a job opening
It's "Crony-Ready"!

Bush would like to do to Amtrak, what Brown did for FEMA. And didn't Brownie work with horses? Iron-horses are nearly the same right?

4. $410.96 per day?
Hell, I'm even LESS qualified than he is -- and I'm happy to screw up for HALF that amount. Where do I sign up?

14. Best guess
$150,000 per year divided by 365 = 410.9596 per day

5. "Heckuva job fuckin' the taxpayers, Brownie"
Will Brownie be remembered with a word, such as 'pulling a Brownie' = totally fucking something up? Use it in a sentence?
"Arnie the Schwarz pulled a Brownie with his special election".

7. Can't tell ya ...
... how many times of late I've heard someone use the expression, "You're doin' a heck of a job, Brownie," when someone screws up. He may not even be remembered as a person in future, but he'll be part of the pop culture lexicon for years to come!

As for his salary, considering the outcome, this twit was WAY OVERPAID. I think his income should be knocked down, retroactively, to minimum wage. He probably doesn't have the cash-on-hand to repay the taxpayers -- so let's give him a shovel and he can work it off cleaning up the mess in NOLA and its environs.

18. "He sure Munsoned up that one!"- LOL, an expression that never really took
But getting Cheneyed, or doing a Lewinsky are readily understood.
And Borked. Politics is making a valuable contribution to our language.

15. You've just laid the groundwork for ...
... Brownie's Wrongful Dismissal suit against the US government.

"Your Honour, my client was, at all material times, equal in stupidity to his immediate supervisor, George W. Bush. On what basis has my client been dismissed, while the idiot who assigned him to his position is still employed ..."
