3. odd numbered groups are better than even numbered... in this case
2 vs 3.

However, they currently ARE more than two parties, it's just that the two dominant ones have rigged the game so it's next to impossible for, say, a green or libertarian or independent to actually get elected to a national office.

5. The only way I'd like to see a third party would be if we had Instant
Runoff Voting or one of its variations like the Condorcet method

7. I think this subject is ripe for the Repubs.
Yesterday same poll on Lou Dobbs. Today MSNBC. Bush's loonie
base will never leave him. This is a memo sent out by the Rove
Gang. The only way the Repubs have a chance in 2006 is to divide
the democratic party and the MSM will begin the assault. A third
party was never discussed when Bush's poll numbers were up. Think
about it folks, divide and conquer.

9. I like that idea
of instant runoff voting. That way if you like someone else in a third party (I liked David Cobb) than you could still vote for him. Might not get anywhere but you never know. Better to give all people a chance.
