Great! This just when my wife and I have a newborn we're looking to put through public school in just a few short years. I love Oklahoma, but if anything is likely to drive me out of this state, it's this. I'm just disgusted about this. Dear god, protect us from your followers!

sw missouri here, from alaska, been here for over 2yrs now. Well, i really don't have a good track record with the state of Oklahoma...so, i will refrain from saying anything, cause i'm am BIASED ...:)

6. There was a story on the local news last night in Denver,

Some woman (didn't catch name or position) is pushing to provide teachers protection if they choose to bring up ID in their science classes. She said "We should allow them to present different academic ideas." I agree, but arghhh!!! You stupid woman!! ID is not an academic idea! Holy fucking crap! Pull your head out of your ass long enough to see the light, why don't ya.

Then they interviewed a local scientist who slammed the whole ID thing, with good solid arguments. He said "It's not insulting, it's just plain wrong!"
