Schneider said Cheney is "embroiled in controversy" over the lead-up to the Iraq war and the Plame case. Says most of the public thinks he knew what Libby was up to, and most have an unfavorable opinion of him.

Dick Cheney leaves South Dakota after annual hunting trip

PIERRE, S.D. - Vice President Dick Cheney left South Dakota on Thursday after visiting for his annual pheasant hunting trip.

Cheney arrived at the Pierre airport in a 12-vehicle procession. He waved to a small crowd as he entered the plane and left the airport about 12:45 p.m.

This marked the fifth year Cheney has gone pheasant hunting in South Dakota as vice president.

He arrived Monday and stayed at a private hunting lodge near Gettysburg.

The 6th graders I taught today (I'm a substitute teacher) showed me some amazingly realistic robots that have been developed in Japan... maybe he's been replaced with one of them.
