Bush's "Blame the Media" campaign.
The funniest thing about Bush's new campaign blaming the media for his falling poll numbers is that it's entirely his own fault. Bush says that the media have been concentrating on the bad things, and not the good things, that have been going on in Iraq. But the reason for this is that the administration not only doesn't even have a plan to make good things start happening (they won't even tell frickin' CONGRESS what the hell the strategy is), but, even if they DID have a plan, they wouldn't tell anyone! It's the administration's secretive nature that is amplifying the effect of the quite obvious bad things (the ones that go "BOOM") happening there. If the Bushees want good things to be in the media, they have to start TELLING us these things.

3. Yeah, It's The Media's Fault That Our Soldiers Are Dying, the Economy Has
gone down the toilet, and Rush Boil Ass Limbaugh got caught with his pockets full of pills.

What ever happened to the repuke idea of "personal responsibility"? Don't they ever accept blame for their mistakes? AWOL dragged us into the war, ignoring what the world thought of it. It's his miserable failure, since he's the 'person in charge'.

7. Bush's stance IS a bit like a slap in the face isn't it?
The question is, do the Media Whores stand up and walk out, or do they lick the master's boots even harder?

5. Today during the WH press briefing a reporter asked
McClellan if Bush*, by saying Americans are "not getting the truth" about Iraq included himself as a source of misinformation. I thought it was an excellent question.

6. Let us hope the press holds onto their newly found Wontons...
Because they are just now starting to do some reporting.

There's a long way to go. I hope this little offensive puts the press in a fighting mood.

9. Its what strategy they'll try next after this fails that worries me
The whole fraud is collapsing around his regime - you don't win back people after they figure out you've lied to them and people, American soldiers included, have died and are dying because of those lies.

We know they're not going to just stand by and watch the ship sink without trying something drastic to save themselves.

Sorry, this tinfoil hat has been glued to my head for two years now...
