Interesting that you would single out people simply by geography, as if all "Southerners" are one big monolithic group to be detested.

What's wrong with the Pentagon? The people in the Pentagon don't tie their shoes without being ordered to do so by our civilian leaders. It's not their fault if sometimes their civilian leaders make stupid decisions.

And what's wrong with anticommunists? JFK, Scoop Jackson, Harry Truman anyone?

Or with Fidel-haters? I hate Fidel. Everyone who hates tyranny should hate Fidel, like Renaldo Arenas, the gay Cuban poet who spent years languishing in Castro's concentration camps for the offense of being a homosexual.
