Separated at birth? Sean Hannity and Joe McCarthy (see photos)

Is it just me, or does McCarthy look just like Hannity with a receding hairline? Two of a kind.

MY grandfather was a WW2 Navy vet and was an engineer on the Al-Can highway and the Al-Can pipeline in the 30s. He was a solid, old world, true conservative Republican with a social conscience and he HATED Tailgunner Joe.

Hannity is far more extreme than McCarthy.

Although they are both the spiritual grandchildren of McCarthy, I think its O'Reilly over at Fox who really bears the stronger physical (facial) resemblance. Both Hannity and O'Reilly share McCarthy's tactics: bullying and shouting down their opponents. They also both have that almost tangible smug, supercilious, disdainful, sneering, arrogant attitude that, "they-are-100%right-and-the-rest-of-the-world-are-commie-traitorous-idiots" just seeping from their pores. Hannity & O'Reilly probably have inspirational icons of McCarthy hanging on their office walls. McCarthy would certainly have been right at home as a pundit or "journalist" on Fox in 2005. Too bad we don't have a Joseph Welch to answer back and stop Hannity & O'Reilly in their ugly tracks.
