Robert Scheer fired from Los Angeles Times
OK. For those who still believe the media is liberal. The Los Angeles Times is here to prove it ain't so.
http://www.latimes.com/news/local/la-me-lat11nov11,1,1492261.story?track=mostemailedlink

Also the LA Times SUPPORTED 3 of Ahhhnold's propositions.

In addition, an anecdote and a TRUE story: My mom recently cancelled her subscription to the Times. In an effort to discourage her from cancelling the sales rep asked her, "If you knew the Times was going to be less liberal, would that change your mind?"...

I'm cancelling my subscription, too...

12. Oh no not the Tribune!
I cancelled my Chicago Trib the day they endorsed the chimp for re-election. It floored me, I couldn't believe it.
They still call me and I still give them an earful.

13. The Trib has traditionally been a conservative paper
though there were occasional signs that might be changing, i guess that leopard hasn't changed its spots ...

2. What did Scheer do? It couldn't
have been as bad as what JMiller did to the Convent Rag.

6. He told the truth about the new fascist regime we are
under long before anyone else dared to. He is among my heroes, who refuse to be media whores.

3. I can't stand that newspaper. The only reason we get it at home
is because my wife likes to read it. (Actually, she likes to do the crosswords and that numbers game they have.)

If it was up to me, I would not give them a cent.

4. You shouldn't be surprised, the Chicago Tribune Co.
owns the LA Times.

The Trib is only good for fishwrap.

7. Tribune Co. also fired Jules Whitcover of the Balt. Sun.
I noticed that Scheer hadn't had many columns lately.

since the Trib took over.

Look for this trend to continue....

18. I've been saying for at least two years the LA Times isn't liberal...
in fact, it's not much different from the Wash. Times despite their recent coverage of the Plame leak case, I don't trust the LA Times much to hold this administration accountable.

Newspapars are going to obsolete themselves to the internet if they continue whoring themselves to the GOP.

are what influenced my decision to drop.
