Please Help Fix New Orleans TONITE!! We Need You! Together We Can Do This!

Hey Guys,

Lets try to fix New Orleans Tonite! I've been working my butt off trying to raise money for the movie 'Hellp' (www.hellpmovie.com). Lets get this thing fully funded tonite!

Info on the movie:
*Filmed entirely in New Orleans in October.
*Over 17 hours of unedited footage.
*Will publicize the local orgs providing the most help in NOLA.
*Will educate America on the REAL New Orleans.

What We need to finish the film:
500GB Hard Drive for the raw footage

but am praying your needs are soon fulfilled. The clip, which I viewed three times, made me smile as I saw my home and people again; it made me cry as I again witnessed the evisceration of everything I cherished in life.

New Orleans is my favorite city in the US (I am an Iowan). And we have sent some money and I will send more to help with supplies. Your city has had severe travails before and has always come back so we are helping with that in our small way.

And it's a very odd feeling to be standing in the middle of the road in a neighborhood with houses that had fallen over, nobody in sight, and knowing that just 3 months ago this was an average American neighborhood.

I also hope I raise the money, I want to get this film done. I spent most of october in New Orleans and met a lot of people that are counting on me to amplify their voice.

My work on this film is totally volunteer and thats the way I want it. The money is going to professional employees that will ensure this film has the impact it should.

Thats What I was thinking, I'm almost falling asleep. But I'm also worried about funding this.

I was supposed to be interviewed for New Mexico ABC news and was going to plug the film. I spoke with the assignment editor on thursday and was told they wanted to do a weekend story on me. But I didn't hear from the station yesterday... So I'm going all out on the message-boards, yahoo groups, and contacts I know.

Both men have been working hard to raise awareness on the problems in New Orleans and in their three weeks in New Orleans they have seen what most Americans are unaware of.
