HEY SAN FRANCISCO ! I LOVE YOU !
Edited on Sat Nov-12-05 04:08 PM by slor
Just wanted to say that, in light of what that cur, o'dumbly said. I have only had the pleasure of visiting your wonderful city once, but it really was a magical place. It was also my first flight. I turned down many trips, over the years, from my fear of flying. But I did it for a trip to San Fran, and it was sooo worth it!

1. I agree!!!

It wasn't my first plane trip; it was my third, and it was my first trip west of the Rockies. I've made two trips out there and both times I came back with wonderful memories.

Wonderful city!

4. I'll 2nd that!
I live in SoCal but I love San Francisco. I love everything about it - It has charm and old city grace. I have old friends who live there. I love getting around on BART & wish I could do that down here. First saw the Grateful Dead at the old Fillmore many years ago. Love it...Love it!

16. Someone should shove this map of military casualties up O'Reilly's ***!

The San Francisco Bay Area has lost many (over 24) of its young men and women in this WarCrime!! More than the ENTIRE STATE of Alaska (5), Hawaii (6), Vermont (14), Montana (10), New Mexico (14), Wyoming (6), Delaware (8), Utah (9), West Virginia (14), Maine (9), Idaho (13), North Dakota (10), South Dakota (11), Connecticut (18), Nebraska (20), Nevada (13), New Hampshire (7), or even Kansas (20)!

12. Chris Daly -- who is my guy
Edited on Sat Nov-12-05 05:07 PM by sfexpat2000

Once, I produced a big benefit for our local homeless coalition at the Great American Music Hall -- a great venue. Chris' office called me and said that his wife was in labor, so he wouldn't be able to speak.

I said, all good, we can cover, wish them the best.

At show time, in bops Chris!

Like a grateful producer I said, "What in THE HELL ARE YOU DOING HERE?!"

He says, "She wasn't progressing, so I thought I'd come by."

THAT'S HOW PROGRESSIVE CHRIS IS!

Go, DU!

:loveya:

7. I love San Francisco and the Bay Area! The BEST city in America!
I've traveled all over the US and lived in California, Washington, Texas, Michigan, New York, Alabama, and Connecticut ... and NOWHERE have I ever found that's close to the excellence of the Bay Area. People, climate, geography ... AWESOME.

10. I Totally Agree!
I've been to SF a few times. I love the city. I could live there if it wasn't so expensive! I even had a hippie-gasm by eating a Ben & Jerry's Cherry Garcia ice cream cone on the corner of Haight and Asbury.

SF in '96. We had a blast! It was beautiful, the weather was perfect and we've been dying to go back. Had drinks and dinner at Fiddler's Green two nights in a row! What great memories!

15. Never been there, actually never been to the West Coast...
I plan on going though, seems like the coolest city in the US, that's for sure. My opinion of O'Falafel couldn't be any lower, I put it(it ain't human) around the same level as a shit stain left in the toliet that won't go away or a factory farms shit cesspool. I hate this mutherfucking, may the Gods damn him to fiery deaths, asshole.

:hi:

Come visit us again! There have been a lot of really nice things happening here lately here. We have a new building for the de Young museum in Golden Gate Park. The new Asian Art museum opened recently. The Conservatory reopened in GGP as well! Also, if you haven't seen all the work done to the Embarcadero and the Ferry Building you're really missing out.

BTW, O'Reilly's punishment is simply to never be able to visit this wonderful city, and I truly believe, that is the worst punishment of all.

Edited to add: If he gets fired from FOX that wouldn't be too bad either. :)

that look like buckets with rounded bottoms! We waited and waited, hoping to see them be fed. :)
