A challenge for the cart protesters...
Edited on Sat Nov-12-05 06:38 PM by Solon
OK, for some reason the thread will not die, and mostly the voice of past Wal*Mart workers are being ignored, so a simple challenge is in order. Many of these wanna-be cart protesters mentioned putting union and worker's rights literature at the bottom of the carts. In addition to that, write a personal note to the associate that had to restock the stuff in the cart, but make sure of one thing, mention WHY you did what you did, and then put your name, phone number, and address on this note, so they can "thank you" personally. After all, if you are doing it for them, they should appreciate the gesture, at the very least.

ON EDIT: Why doesn't someone post this idea up at the Wal*Mart sucks forums, it is for the disgruntled workers there after all.

1. That sounds fair to me! But instead of your home address, a work address

2. Yeah, whatever they feel comfortable with...
but phone number and name should be a must. I'm sure after working the day after Thanksgiving, these workers would LOVE to have some words with the people participating in this "protest".

5. Yeah. Home might be a little risky.
At work, they can come in and mess up your work. ;-)

3. Are you nuts?
Give your name, address, and phone # after you create extra work for them to do? Hello???????

7. Sheesh.
Next time use a sarcasm logo.

And no, I have no interest in running around Wal-Mart gathering objects that I have no intention of buying.

9. Sorry, I sometimes forget to put the sarcasm tag...
Plus I assumed people actually knew my position by now, considering how many posts I made against the idiotic idea for the past two days. Yes I'm somewhat obsessive about it, but I can't stand callous rudeness at Wal*Mart workers, not to mention the ignorance as to how the stores in question operate. I'm speaking as a former Wal*Mart floor associate, 2 years, and no way in the ninth circle of HELL would I every step foot in a Wal*Mart again.

6. That's the point.
If you are doing it for them, they shouldn't mind. ;-)
