Idea: Flashmobs to protest against O'Reilly
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=106x25001Back when they were airing "Doctor Laura," I suggested seeking-out their news vans and intentionally disrupting their live broadcasts in protest.
I was told that might be illegal.
Does anyone know if there are legal guidelines we could follow to do things like hold up signs and shout slogans during their live remote broadcasts?
They're usually pretty good about telling us where their news crews are going to be standing during the evening news.
All we would need to do is monitor their broadcasts and then post their locations (and anticipated locations) to message boards and SMS cellphone lists. Activists could then show-up to stand in front of the cameras waving signs and shouting something like, "Fire the Terrorist O'Reilly!"
We'd be setting-up sort of a nation-wide "flashmob" group. Call it a "Foxmob."
What (if anything) is there along these ines that we could do that would be meaningful, effective
and legal?
