There are some things that are not in the "official" help texts that nevertheless work for posting on DU;

4. You mean how I get multiple lines in my signature?
You insert the (br) tag to break the text into lines. You are allowed three lines.

Close with the </s> (replace < > with brackets) where you want the strikeout to end.

And that's pretty much the limits of my knowledge in this area.

How do you insert a literal square bracket. ie. I want to include a square brackets in my text but I can't because it's interpretted as a placeholder.

However, there are macro key programs you can get that will insert strings for you as you type shorter sequences... Just a thought.

Just to check how annoying it would be to type a whole message with this setting. I could see this being fun for about the first nanosecond and then becoming a real strain pain. But just to make sure I'm typing this out so I can check it out myself to see if my assumption is correct......hmmmm
