Politics aside, doesn't Condi pale in comparison to Madeleine Albright?
For a woman in such a high-powered position, she doesn't seem to be making much of an impact.

3. I would say of course,

But I'm a little confused, if we put politics aside, what is there left upon which to compare the two?

On edit:

Did you mean putting political affiliation aside? If so, then hell yeah. Shouldbeacondaleeza is nothing short of completely irritating and unaffective. When I see her speak it makes me shudder, even more than the shrub himself! (At least when I watch * speak, I can laugh my ass off at his forrest gump like attributes. Condi just makes me sick)

4. Meh.
Albright said in essence that the death and despair caused by sanctions against Iraq were "worth it." She's just another damnable, heartless patrician if you ask me.

The only reason Condi is worse is that she works for perhaps the most evil and corrupt administration in American history. Her heartlessness and lack of a soul will have catastrophic consequences.

5. I think you're correct Spiff.

The grim question of how many people have died in Iraq has sparked heated debate over the years. The controversy dates from 1995, when researchers with a Food and Agricultural Organization (FAO) study in Iraq wrote to The Lancet, the journal of the British Medical Society, asserting that sanctions were responsible for the deaths of 567,000 Iraqi children. The New York Times picked up the story and declared "Iraq Sanctions Kill Children." CBS followed up with a segment on 60 Minutes that repeated the numbers and depicted sanctions as a murderous assault on children. This was the program in which UN ambassador (and later Secretary of State) Madeleine Albright, when asked about these numbers, coldly stated, "The price is worth it."

7. Thanks for finding the article
I remember wanting to wring her neck when she said it. Half-a-million dead children are "worth it?" Worth what? WTF did we gain by destroying so many innocent lives other than the hatred of millions and horrible karma?

It doesn't matter which party is in power if they are all of the same mindset. People with no conscience must never be allowed to control the levers of power.
