Judy Miller reminds me of the movie "Citizen Kane"
It's been a while since I've seen the movie, but part of Orson's themes is how the Hearst-character drummed up support for the Spanish American War, basically by printing propoganda in his newspapers.

That's essentially what Judy did, and what the NY Times did through either neglect or through conscious support. Either way, it's not a pretty picture. Yup, History repeats itself.

She just doesn't get it that what has happened to her credibility and integrity are big a mystery as what Willy Loman carries in his sample cases.
