Bush has full power and control. Why isn't he happy?

That's the happiest we've seen him; it's usually one scowl after another.

He's got the power and the decisions and the "capital mandate" or whatever he wants to call it.

HE is responsible for what he and his political party are doing.

Yet they are not happy.

If I had all that power. I'd be happy. And I sure as hell don't like or want power. I just want to live and be happy.

So what am I missing?

2. He has the power, but not the praise.
His followers support him not because they like him, but because there's some form of personal gain involved. All his power probably counts for absolutely nothing in his eyes when those he rules over fail to worship him.

6. i don't think he ever wanted power
it's too much work to use and abuse it. you have to be a driven person to really work power to it's fullest. it's the cheney/rumsfeld/lott/bolton types that want the power.

chimpy thought he'd be the "popular" genial front man like reagan. the popular part isn't working out and he's confused and edgy.

the others are now trying to dance as fast as they can before the band stops playing for them.

9. He's NEVER had to face the consequences of his actions
Now, he's (well he pretends) in control, gotten what he wanted, and, as usual its a world class clusterfuck and he's looking around for someone to once again bail him out of his screw ups and Cheney is hiding.

:0)

I'm loving it
