15. I'm Sure There Are A Few
Lieberman pops into my head. He was Bush's staunchest Democratic supporter right before the Iraqi invasion. I also include Zell... but who doesn't. I'm sure there are a few more, but will wait for proof.

Blood, Sweat & Tears: Asia’s Poor Build U.S. Bases in Iraq
David Phinney
October 3rd, 2005

Thousands of low-wage Asian laborers are traveling to Iraq to work for U.S. military contractors like First Kuwaiti and Prime Projects International in the hope of sending money home to their families. Trapped and exploited under inhuman conditions, many of them are now fleeing the country to save their lives

9. In the America of the past
people discovered to be war profiteers would have to run to the local authorities to avoid being lynched by spontaneous mobs of ordinary people outraged by their conduct.

Today, they get second terms as Vice-President of the United States.

12. Make it a matrix, it will speak volumes
I've also said that we should do the same with the faith-based-initiative moneys. I believe that matrix would reveal a web of illegal campaign contributions using tax dollars.

23. Follow the contributions as agents of change...
i.e., we (now) know that Mellon-Scaife contributed to Libby's little publication, The Apprentice. Mellon-Scaife, of course, derives its money from oil.
It's not just who profits, but what they invest in that is of great importance--cause the money is going to beef up the credentials of their plants in the govt. In addition, it's going to promote stuff like ID.

14. Yes
I'm thinking about buying some stock (not a lot, but I need to start getting serious about preparing for retirement), & I don't want to have stock in any war-profiteering companies. So this would be a great idea.
