Lindsey Graham Getting Testy With Alan Colmes On H&C
Edited on Tue Nov-15-05 09:15 PM by eleny
Graham insisted that Saddham kicked the inpectors out. Colmes asserted that the administration told the inspectors to leave for their own safety. Then Graham shifted his position to something like "Saddham would have kicked them out" or some such. Then, as they were going to break, Graham said under his breath - "This is a bunch of garbage". Well, yeah, Senator. I'd say you were trying to push some old garbage.

3. Kucinich just smacked down Hannity - YOWZA!
Edited on Tue Nov-15-05 09:22 PM by eleny
Hannity tried to misquote and take Kucinich's words out of context. So, Kucinich asked the viewers to go to his site to read the entire, accurate text. Hannity tried to talk over him but K admonished Hannity and just kept speaking. That was great.

I never watch the program and loved every minute of the Graham smack down by Comes and Kucinich giving Hannity the dunking. Btw, Graham never returned after the break. Guess they took him away in the wha-a-a-ambulance!

2. Colmes was right. Graham was wrong.
It's a matter of historical record at this point.

12. Yes he was soooooo sincere when he pleaded with Clinton to confess
before he voted for impeachment. "Mr. President, I-I-I need your help in making this decision". The conflicted holdout then volunteered to be an impeachment manager.

Lindsay's a worthless piece of shit.

5. There was never any question about why the inspectors left
They left because we told them to, warning them that the bombs were about to start dropping.

This is one of the most infuriating things about the corrupt admin, but more especially about the corrupt press. This is not some case of "Democrats claim that Saddam didn't kick out the inspectors". George Bush threw them out because he was going to have his war, NO MATTER WHAT. And we all knew this, every one of us on this board at the time. So did a large percentage of average Americans.

And now it's not quite a fact anymore? Now it may be completely wrong? Now it was Saddam doing this the whole time?

In conclusion, I won't use this space to say that Bush is like Hitler. Nor will I use this space to make proclamations about the existence or lack thereof an afterlife. But I will say, wherever Adolf Hitler is now, the Bush Administration and their lapdogs in the press will be joining him there one of these days. Karma demands it.

6. I remember the day Bush ordered them out
And Saddham even agreed to submit to any scrutiny but W just said he wouldn't believe Saddham. There was every opportunity to avoid war, use inspection and diplomacy, and come away smelling like roses. But - N-O-O-O-O.

13. the real question is 'why did the UN go along with bush"?
why didn't the UN send a few thousand more 'inspectors' to iraq, to stop an illegal war? why didn't kofi annan say 'i'm going to go to iraq...' and thus screw up the busheviks? why didn't the pope, if he really cared about the innocent lives to be lost, announce he was visiting iraq right away?
the fact is, it looked like the fix was in the whole time, and bushinc was scared someone do something such as saddam suddenly resign as prez or something

7. Lindsey is a weasel. Damn. He's really lying his ass off.
Could he be discharged from the armed forces (he's a reserves or guard JAG officer) it is provedthat he's lying his ass off?

BTW (no offense to out GBLT DUers), how many SC Repubs know that he is gay? (I'm next door in GA) My gaydar is so on him. He's like Gomer Pyle.
Why doesn't he come over to our Democratic side?

8. that was the FIRST irrefutable instance of dumbo lying on the internationa
stage

the first time he said it was during a press conference with Khofi Anan. I was watching, and almost hurled when he said Saddam kicked out the inspectors and wouldn't let em back in. the MSM almost totally ignored it at the time.....during the election campaign, IIRC

then, he said it another time, under different circs, again nobody picked up on it, including the Achordate Party

let's hope Colmes can come back with the specifics soon, to show this huge, huge lie for what it was
