Pure speculation about Chalabi
What if the real reason why Chalabi came to the US last week because Fitzgerald wanted to question him in regards to the Niger forgeries? Of course, Bushco wouldn't want this out in the press, so instead they had to make a good show of it and suddenly Chalabi went from persona non grata to everybody's friend again. Hence all the private meetings with the likes of Cheney and Rumsfeld and who knows who else. Maybe even a little side visit with his old pal Judy? Things make a lot more sense if this was the case.

1. hm...I doubt it, if only because the expense, extradition, etc. would
be prohibitive.

much more likely is setting up the invasion of Syria and Chalabi demanding a face to face on top secret plans.
